Kubilay Aktaş — Biography

Kubilay Aktaş (born 29 January 1995 in Saint-Priest) is a Franco-Turkish footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder. Wikidata records the birthplace only as "France"; the German, French and DBpedia records give the finer detail of Saint-Priest in the Metropolis of Lyon, which is used here. He holds dual citizenship and is listed at 1.82 m.

He was trained at Olympique Lyonnais, and Arabic- and Persian-language sources then record spells at Boluspor and Kasımpaşa. The same sources note appearances for Turkey at under-19 and under-21 level.

Turkish press coverage sets out the later sequence: Denizlispor in January 2021, Altınordu in January 2022, a departure from Altınordu in July 2023 followed immediately by a move to Adanaspor, and a transfer to Ümraniyespor in July 2024. Among the encyclopaedia entries, the Turkish and English versions name Ümraniyespor while the French and Russian ones name Adanaspor — a difference explained by the dates at which each snapshot was frozen.
