Koray Şanlı — Biography
Koray Şanlı is a Turkish defender born on 26 December 1989 in Mersin. He began his career in Beşiktaş's youth setup as an amateur at the age of 15 in 2005, and although he was included in the first-team squad several times during the 2007–08 season, he never managed to break into the starting lineup at senior level.
After leaving Beşiktaş, Şanlı continued his career in Turkey's lower divisions, turning out for clubs such as Adanaspor, Yeni Malatyaspor, Diyarbekirspor and Tarsus İdman Yurdu, before later playing for Batman Petrolspor.
