Koray Arslan — Biography

Koray Arslan (born 1 October 1983 in Bor, Niğde Province) is a Turkish former footballer. He stood 1.78 m tall and played as a defender. English-language sources give his date of birth as 10 October 1983, but Wikidata together with the Turkish and German encyclopedic records place it on 1 October 1983.

His career was spent with clubs across Turkey. Antalyaspor, Eskişehirspor, Bucaspor, Gaziantepspor, Karşıyaka, Akhisar Belediyespor, Göztepe and İstanbul Güngörenspor are among the sides he represented, and in May 2018 the Turkish press reported that he had reached an agreement in principle with Antalyaspor.

In a 2010 interview with the Turkish Football Federation he reflected on his profession, remarking that footballers are fortunate people.
