Kiah Stokes — Biography

Kiah Irene Stokes was born on March 30, 1993, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and is an American professional basketball player who also holds Turkish citizenship. Standing 1.91 m (6 ft 3 in) tall, she plays as a center. Before college she attended Linn-Mar High School in Marion, Iowa, and represented the United States at the U16 level, helping the team win gold at the FIBA Americas U16 Championship.

Stokes played four seasons at the University of Connecticut, reaching four consecutive Final Four appearances and winning three straight NCAA national championships between 2013 and 2015. She was picked 11th overall by the New York Liberty in the first round of the 2015 WNBA draft and was named to the league's All-Rookie and All-Defensive second teams that season. She went on to win WNBA championships with the Las Vegas Aces.

In Turkey, Stokes played for Beşiktaş and BOTAŞ in the Turkish Women's Basketball Super League, leading the league in rebounding with a 13.0 average during the 2017-18 season at BOTAŞ. She then joined Fenerbahçe, with whom she won multiple Turkish Women's Basketball League titles as well as EuroLeague championships in 2023 and 2024.
