Kenan Doğulu — Biography
Kenan Doğulu is a Turkish pop singer, composer, and songwriter born in Istanbul on 31 May 1974. The son of musician Yurdaer Doğulu, he studied at the Musicians Institute and Istanbul Bilgi University and has released more than fourteen studio albums over the course of his career.
Doğulu reached a wide audience with his 2006 album Festival, which featured the hit single "Çakkıdı" recorded together with Sezen Aksu. In 2007 he represented Turkey at the Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki, finishing fourth with 163 points.
In his personal life, Doğulu married actress Beren Saat in 2014 after a relationship that began in 2012, and he continues to perform live each summer, including at open-air theaters and seaside concert venues.
