Kemal Özdeş — Biography
Kemal Özdeş was born on 10 May 1970 in Manisa and graduated from Manisa Celal Bayar University in 1994. He played football mainly at amateur level for clubs in the Aegean region, retiring from active play when his contract at Manisa Mensucatspor ended in the 1993-94 season.
He moved into coaching in 1995 as an assistant at Bergamaspor and went on to assist several other head coaches before taking charge of Turkey's under-19 national team in 2010, leading the side to the 2011 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. At club level he has managed Manisaspor, Gençlerbirliği, Balıkesirspor, Karşıyaka, Elazığspor, Kasımpaşa and Yeni Malatyaspor, including three separate spells at Kasımpaşa, the last of which ended in 2023. He was appointed head coach of MKE Ankaragücü in December 2024 and departed the role in February 2025.
