Kazımcan Karataş — Biography

Kazımcan Karataş is a Turkish footballer, born on 16 January 2003 in İzmir, who plays as a left back. A product of Galatasaray's youth system, the 1.82 m defender has held a contract with the Istanbul club since the 2022-23 season and has spent loan spells with MKE Ankaragücü and İstanbul Başakşehir.

In the summer of 2026 his name surfaced in transfer talk, but manager Okan Buruk moved to keep him at Galatasaray; Karataş later spoke publicly about the squad's title ambitions following the club's championship celebrations.

Having previously represented Turkey at under-17 and under-19 level, Karataş accepted an invitation from the North Macedonian federation in July 2026 and chose to pursue senior international football with North Macedonia rather than Turkey.
