Kamber Arslan — Biography

Kamber Arslan was born on 5 January 1980 in Kayseri and began playing football at age 17 with the Kayseri Sağlıkspor youth setup. He turned professional with Kayseri Elektrikspor before joining Kayserispor's reserve side in 2001; after three seasons there he broke into the first team and was part of the squad that won promotion to the Süper Lig in the 2004-05 season. Playing as a holding midfielder, he scored four goals for Kayserispor and picked up 16 yellow cards and one red card during his time there.

Known for his loyalty to Kayserispor, Arslan once said he would play for free just to keep wearing the number 38 shirt, describing it as an unwritten pledge to the club. Later in his career he also played for second-tier Kayseri Erciyesspor and Süper Lig side Antalyaspor, repeatedly returning to Kayseri Erciyesspor rather than leaving his home city. He ended his professional playing career at Körfez Spor Kulübü in 2011.
