Kağan Moradaoğlu — Biography

Kağan Moradaoğlu is a young goalkeeper who came through the Trabzonspor academy and became known both for his first steps on the pitch and for an academic achievement outside football. He now plays his professional football for Erzurumspor.

Trabzonspor tied him to his first professional contract in February 2019, when he was only 16. While playing in the club's youth side, he was called up to the senior squad for the match against Başakşehir on 19 February 2021 and made his Süper Lig debut; Trabzonspor won that game 1-0. The press reported a gloves gesture of support toward him from Turkey international goalkeeper Uğurcan Çakır. After staying at Trabzonspor for the following seasons, he moved to Erzurumspor in September 2024.

Another side of him that drew attention was his schooling: in the 2022 national university entrance exam (YKS) he placed among the top thousand candidates and earned a fully funded place at a law faculty.
