İzzet Türkyılmaz — Biography
İzzet Türkyılmaz was born on 20 May 1990 in Burhaniye, Balıkesir. Standing 2.16 m tall, he plays as a power forward or center. He turned professional in 2007 and was selected 50th overall by the Denver Nuggets in the 2012 NBA draft, going on to appear for the Nuggets in the 2012 NBA Summer League before returning to play in Europe.
He represented the Turkish national team at EuroBasket 2011 and helped Turkey win gold at the 2013 Mediterranean Games. Over his club career he has played for teams including Galatasaray, Bursaspor Basketbol and Le Mans in France, along with several other Turkish Basketball League sides; reports in mid-2026 placed him at Bursaspor Basketbol.
