İsmail Köybaşı — Biography
İsmail Köybaşı (born 10 July 1989 in İskenderun, Hatay) is a Turkish former international footballer who played as a left-back. Over the course of his career he represented clubs including Gaziantepspor, Beşiktaş and Göztepe.
He also appeared for the Turkey national team. In July 2026 he announced his retirement from professional football; his final club Göztepe honoured him with a farewell match against Trabzonspor in İzmir.
