İsmail Arca — Biography

İsmail Arca was born on 5 September 1948 in Bursa. A defender, he spent his entire professional career with Eskişehirspor, playing for the club for 17 years and becoming one of the players with the most league appearances in its history. This long and successful spell earned him the nickname "Büyük Kaptan" (Great Captain) among Eskişehirspor supporters.

Arca also played for the Turkish national team, and after retiring as a player he moved into coaching. Remembered as one of the most legendary figures in Eskişehirspor's history, he is still held in high regard by the club and its fans today.
