Işık Kaan Arslan — Biography

Işık Kaan Arslan is a centre-back from Bahçelievler who came up through the Galatasaray academy, which he joined in 2012. He reached the Süper Lig with Galatasaray's senior side in January 2022, then spent two loan spells in the 2. Lig; he moved to Boluspor in 2024 and agreed terms with Sarıyer in June 2026. He represented Turkey at under-16, under-17, under-18 and under-19 level, and was called up to the under-21 side in 2021.

He signed his first professional contract with Galatasaray on 23 August 2019. His first senior experience came on loan at the 2. Lig club Ergene Velimeşe in the second half of 2020-21. For Galatasaray he first played on 28 December 2021 in the Turkish Cup against Denizlispor, and his first Süper Lig match was on 8 January 2022 against Giresunspor, where he was in the starting eleven. He spent the next two seasons in the 2. Lig again, on one-year loans to Sarıyer from 17 August 2022 and to Fethiyespor from 20 July 2023. On 31 July 2024 Galatasaray announced his move to Boluspor, and he played for the first-division side. In June 2026 he reached an agreement in principle with Sarıyer, the club he had once played for on loan.
