İrfan Can Eğribayat — Biography

İrfan Can Eğribayat was born on 30 June 1998 in the Seyhan district of Adana. Standing 1.93 meters tall, the goalkeeper joined Adanaspor's youth academy in 2007 and signed his first professional contract with the club in 2014, making his senior debut in 2015 and helping the side win promotion from the second tier that season. He moved to Göztepe in September 2020, then two years later joined Fenerbahçe with a purchase option, a move the club made permanent in 2023 after he helped win the Turkish Cup, extending his contract through 2027. In January 2026 he went on a season-long loan to Samsunspor. As a youth international he represented Turkey at under-16, under-17 and under-18 level, including an appearance at an international youth tournament in 2014.

His exit from Fenerbahçe was confirmed in July 2026, after which the club's chairman announced an accepted offer and Eğribayat agreed to join fellow Süper Lig side Gençlerbirliği for the new season.
