İrfan Başaran — Biography

Born on December 20, 1989 in the Yüreğir district of Adana, İrfan Başaran is a Turkish footballer who plays as a midfielder. A product of the Galatasaray youth academy, he went on to build a long career in Turkey's lower divisions, turning out for clubs such as Yeni Malatyaspor, Altınordu, Boluspor, Samsunspor and Kocaelispor.

Later in his career he also played for 52 Orduspor and İskenderunspor, moving between clubs in different cities and establishing himself as a familiar name in the TFF 2. Lig and the divisions below it.
