Ilvana Zvizdić — Biography

Ilvana Zvizdić (born 14 January 1971 in Sarajevo) is a retired basketball player who represented first Yugoslavia and later Bosnia and Herzegovina. Standing 1.87 m, she belongs to the generation of players who came through in the final years of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.

She turned professional in 1986 and ended a playing career of nearly two decades in 2005, a spell that included a stint with Partizan in the Serbian women's league. Having played on through the redrawing of borders in the region, she holds Italian and Croatian citizenship alongside that of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
