Taşkın İlter — Biography

Taşkın İlter (born 5 July 1994 in Berlin) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder. Some records invert his name as İlter Taşkın, but Wikidata, Google's Knowledge Graph and the Turkish, English, German and Azerbaijani Wikipedia editions all settle on Taşkın İlter. He stands 1.85 m.

Born in Germany, he holds German, Azerbaijani and Turkish citizenship according to Wikidata; German Wikipedia introduces him as a German-born Azerbaijani footballer who also has Turkish nationality. Internationally he has played for Azerbaijan at under-21 and senior level.

His club career has been spent in Turkey, where sources and 2026 reporting place him at Eyüpspor. A move to Bursaspor was discussed in December 2025 but the transfer was put on hold, and in July 2026 Kayserispor were reported to be interested. In an interview in May 2026 he said he had been waiting for a national-team call-up that never came.
