İlknur Kobaş — Biography
İlknur Kobaş is a Turkish judoka born on 19 July 1977. Competing in the half-middleweight (61 kg) category, she built a decorated judo career, winning gold at the 1994 World Junior Judo Championships and finishing fifth at the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics.
After her competitive career, Kobaş turned to coaching and is now also known as İlknur Kobaş Tepe. Her daughter, Ayşe Minel Tepe, followed in her footsteps and became a judoka in her own right, competing at European and world championship level.
