İlkin Tüfekçi — Biography

İlkin Tüfekçi is an actress working in television series and on the stage who has also moved into cinema in recent years. She became widely known for playing Pelin in the series Kara Para Aşk, kept her place on screen with series such as Zemheri and Seversin, and has appeared in feature films since 2022.

Born in Istanbul, Tüfekçi is the daughter of former Galatasaray footballer İlyas Tüfekçi. After attending Florya Selim Pars High School she trained in the theatre department of the Haliç University Conservatory. She began acting in 2007 as Selin in the series Arka Sıradakiler, which ran until 2012. She then took roles in Kader Çizgisi and Papatyam, playing Melis in the third and fourth seasons of the latter. In 2012 she appeared in most of the courtroom scenes of Karadayı from its first episode. Her breakthrough came as Pelin Serter in Kara Para Aşk, broadcast in 2014-15. She has also worked on the stage as well as on television.

In 2020 she played Şule in Zemheri, and in 2022 Handan Çelikbaş in Seversin. She continues to take on new projects. In cinema she appeared in Çirkin Şansı and 41 Kere Maşallah (both 2022) and is in the cast of the 2025 film Parçalı Yıllar. Some commentators have compared her to the young Müjde Ar.
