İlhan Şahin — Biography
İlhan Şahin (born August 30, 1980, in Kartal, Istanbul) is a Turkish former footballer. Standing 1.82 m tall, he was born in the Kartal district of Istanbul and played club football in Turkey during his active years.
At the beginning of 2010 he transferred to the İzmir club Göztepe, where he continued his career before retiring from professional football and joining the ranks of former players.
In early 2021 his name returned to the sports headlines when Ünal Karaman, then coach of Göztepe, stated that "İlhan Şahin will continue with us."
