İbrahim Ferdi Coşkun — Biography

İbrahim Ferdi Coşkun is a Turkish winger and midfielder who came up through the clubs of his home city, Gaziantep. The press mostly calls him Ferdi Coşkun, and sources give his position variously as right or left winger. The defining step of his career was reaching the Süper Lig with Gaziantepspor.

He started in the Gaziantepspor youth system, played at every age level and turned professional in 2005. The next year he was loaned for two seasons to the 2. Lig side GASKİ, where he made 52 appearances, one of them in the Turkish Cup. He returned to Gaziantepspor for 2008-09 and made his Süper Lig debut in the opening match of the league season against Fenerbahçe, coming on in the 88th minute of a 1-0 Gaziantepspor win.

After a long stay with Gaziantepspor he moved to newly promoted Süper Lig side Mersin İdman Yurdu at the start of 2011-12, signing in July 2011. In July 2015 he was reported to have joined Manisaspor. Another source lists him later as a left winger for Gaziantep Ankasspor.
