Hüseyin Kartal — Biography
Hüseyin Kartal (born 1 January 1982 in Eğirdir, Isparta) is a Turkish former international footballer who played as a forward. Standing 1.89 m tall, he played for clubs including Ankaragücü, Denizlispor, Osmanlıspor, Kasımpaşa, Yeni Malatyaspor, Diyarbakırspor and Göztepe during his career.
Kartal enjoyed his most successful spell at MKE Ankaragücü, before moving to Kasımpaşa in 2009 and signing for Göztepe in 2010. After representing Turkey at under-21 level, he was part of the senior national team squad that finished third at the 2003 FIFA Confederations Cup.
