Hüseyin Alkan — Biography
Hüseyin Alkan (born 1 April 1988 in Küçükçekmece, Istanbul) is a Turkish Paralympic goalball player who competes in the B1 classification.
He lost his eyesight following a workplace accident at the age of 19, after which he took up goalball and went on to represent Turkey's national team. He was part of the squad that won the bronze medal at the 2012 London Paralympic Games.
Alkan is counted among the athletes who have raised the profile of Turkish visually impaired sport on the international stage, contributing to the growth of goalball as a competitive discipline in Turkey.
