Hayrettin Demirbaş — Biography
Born on 26 June 1963 in Istanbul, Hayrettin Demirbaş is a former Turkish international goalkeeper who now works as a coach. He spent the majority of his playing career at Galatasaray, having also featured for Altay İzmir earlier on.
After retiring from playing, Demirbaş moved into coaching as a goalkeeper trainer, most recently serving in that role at Bandırmaspor during the 2016-17 season. Remembered as one of Galatasaray's iconic goalkeepers, he has periodically shared his views on the club's goalkeeping situation and on Turkish football more broadly.
