Haydar Yılmaz is a Turkish goalkeeper born on 19 January 1984 in Aydın. He began his playing career at Koçarlı Belediyespor in 1999, turned professional at Yalıkavak Belediyespor in 2003, and wore the colours of Eskişehir Şekerspor that same year; over the following seasons he also guarded the net for Gaziosmanpaşa, İnegölspor, Şanlıurfaspor and Tarsus İdman Yurdu.
He signed a two-year deal with Kartalspor in 2011, moved to Alanyaspor in 2013, and was made the club's captain in early 2015. In 2020 he went on loan from Alanyaspor to Gaziantep FK, and later played in goal for Karşıyaka. In 2023, while with Van Spor, he broke a record previously held by Şenol Güneş.
Since retiring as a player, the former goalkeeper has kept contributing to football commentary, and in early 2026 he had warm words of praise for Beşiktaş manager Sergen Yalçın.
