Haydar Şişman — Biography
Haydar Şişman was born on September 4, 1966 in the Maçka district of Trabzon. He graduated from the Painting Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University and also worked as a teacher for a time.
He had his first acting experience with the 2015 film Kalandar Soğuğu (Cold of Kalandar), and his portrayal of Mehmet in that film earned him the Best Actor award at both the 35th International Istanbul Film Festival and the 52nd International Antalya Film Festival. The film was selected as Turkey's Oscar submission candidate in 2016. In the same period he played the character Hurşit in the ATV series Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz, and later appeared in the film Yol Kenarı.
Between 2023 and 2025 he played the character Derviş in the series Hudutsuz Sevda, and in 2026 he joined the cast of the series İnci Taneleri. Alongside acting, he continues his work as a painter and opens exhibitions.
