Hasan Sönmez — Biography

Hasan Sönmez (born 27 September 1976 in İznik) is a retired Turkish footballer, born in the İznik district of Bursa, who played as a goalkeeper. He began his career in 1994 with his hometown club İznikspor.

Over the course of his career he played for seven different clubs, among them Samsunspor, Gençlerbirliği, Trabzonspor, Kayserispor and Akçaabat Sebatspor, and he also represented Turkey at under-18 level. He ended his playing career in the 2011–12 season at İznikspor, the very club where it had begun.
