Hasan Ali Kaldırım — Biography

Hasan Ali Kaldırım is a left-back and left wing-back who spent eight years at Fenerbahçe. Born and raised in Germany, he holds both Turkish and German citizenship, and his family comes from the Senirkent district of Isparta. At Fenerbahçe he won the Turkish Cup, the Super Cup and a league title, and with Amedspor he was part of a 1. Lig title run in 2025-26.

He started out in the youth system of TuS Koblenz, then moved to 1. FC Kaiserslautern's juniors and on to Mainz 05's reserve side. In early 2010 he joined Kayserispor, playing 6 matches in his first season, 15 in his second and becoming a regular with 33 in his third. That form earned him a national-team call-up and, in 2012, a move to Fenerbahçe. In his first season he played in every official match and scored his first Süper Lig goal in the Galatasaray derby of 16 December 2012. In later years Michal Kadlec and then Ersun Yanal's arrival cut his playing time, and in 2015 he stood out when deployed as a right-back in the Champions League qualifier against Shakhtar Donetsk. In August 2020 he left Fenerbahçe for Başakşehir, moved to Ankaragücü in 2023 and signed for Amedspor in September 2025.

At Fenerbahçe he won the 2012-13 Turkish Cup, the 2014 Super Cup and the 2013-14 Süper Lig. After playing for Turkey's youth sides he was also called up to the senior national team. He is the older brother of the footballer Cemal Kaldırım.
