Harun Erdenay — Biography
Hakkı Harun Erdenay, nicknamed "Pegasus," is a former Turkish national basketball player and sports administrator, born on 27 May 1968 in Ankara. Standing 1.98 meters tall, he played as a small forward and shooting guard and was renowned for his three-point shooting. He turned professional in 1985, went on to earn 189 caps for Turkey, including 179 with the senior national team, and was part of the squad that won the silver medal at EuroBasket 2001. He retired from playing in 2008.
After his playing career, Erdenay moved into basketball administration with the Turkish Basketball Federation, and as of 2026 he serves as the federation's Vice President, remaining closely involved with the national teams' preparations and the development of young players.
