Harun Alpsoy — Biography

Harun Alpsoy is a midfielder who was born and raised in Switzerland and holds both Swiss and Turkish citizenship. He began playing in Switzerland, appeared for its youth national teams, and then chose Turkey, continuing his club career with Turkish sides such as Antalyaspor, Bodrumspor and Boluspor. He stands 1.87 m tall.

Born in Menziken, Alpsoy played for Switzerland at under-15, under-16, under-17, under-18 and under-19 level. He began his professional career at Grasshopper in 2015. In an interview he described how, in his youth years, he worked, studied and played football all at once. FC Schaffhausen is also among the clubs he has played for in Switzerland.

He decided in 2018 to represent Turkey instead. He made his Turkey under-20 debut on 28 May 2018, taking the field in the 2-1 win over Japan at the Toulon Tournament. At club level he played for Antalyaspor before moving to Bodrumspor in July 2022. He then played in the TFF 1. Lig with Boluspor.
