Hamdi Aslan — Biography

Hamdi Aslan (born 6 September 1967 in Trabzon) is a Turkish former footballer, football coach and television pundit.

As a player he turned out for Trabzonspor and Adanaspor, represented Turkey at under-19 and under-21 level and also earned a place with the senior national team. One of the players produced by football in Trabzon, he became closely identified with the club of his home province.

After retiring he moved into coaching and served as head coach of the Turkey women's national team between 2006 and 2010. He later took on roles within the Turkish Football Federation and became a familiar face on television as a football commentator.
