Halit Özgür Sarı — Biography

Halit Özgür Sarı is a Turkish actor and model born on 4 October 1993 in Istanbul. His family originally comes from Gaziantep, and he has said his maternal grandfather was of Arab descent and emigrated from Aleppo, Syria. After finishing high school he graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University's Department of Economics, having modelled for a number of brands during his school years before training further in acting and moving in front of the camera.

He began his acting career in 2018 in the series Diriliş: Ertuğrul, later played Arif in the Netflix series The Protector, and drew attention in 2019 as Kerem Özer in Şampiyon. He took a guest role in Kırmızı Oda in 2020, then became widely known in 2021 for playing Kadir Eren in Kardeşlerim. In 2022 he played twin characters Pamir Ulaş and Levent Güneş in Gizli Saklı, and appeared in the films Last Summer and Private Lesson. Between 2023 and 2025 he became most famous for the role of Yaman in the FOX series Yabani.

In 2025 he played Azil Yılmaz in Gözleri KaraDeniz, and in 2026 he took the lead role alongside Miray Daner in the series Alıkara. A self-described devoted Fenerbahçe fan, he was reported by the entertainment press to have ended a relationship with his Yabani co-star Simay Barlas in 2024, following an earlier relationship with actress Sinem Ünsal that ended in 2022.
