Hakkı Kurtuluş — Biography
Hakkı Kurtuluş (born 25 April 1980 in Istanbul) is a Turkish film director, screenwriter, producer and cultural historian. He has also worked as a cinematographer and actor.
He made his feature directorial debut with Orada in 2009, followed by Gözetleme Kulesi (2012) and Gözümün Nuru (2013), the latter co-directed with Melik Saraçoğlu. His collaboration with Saraçoğlu continued with the film Birlikte Öleceğiz.
Alongside his filmmaking, Kurtuluş is also known for his research in cultural history.
