Hakan Özmert — Biography
Hakan Özmert (born 3 June 1985 in Nantes, France) is a Turkish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He holds both French and Turkish citizenship.
He spent most of his club career in Turkey, playing for Sakaryaspor, Sivasspor, Kardemir Karabükspor, Kasımpaşa, Orduspor and İstanbul Başakşehir. At Antalyaspor he rose to team captain before parting ways with the club in February 2023; he then played for Bodrumspor and Sarıyer.
Özmert, who stands 1.83 m tall, also represented Turkey at under-19 and other youth international levels.
