Hakan Köseoğlu — Biography

Hakan Köseoğlu (born 12 December 1981 in Istanbul) is a Turkish former professional basketball player who played as a point guard. Standing 1.88 m, he also appeared for Turkey's national teams.

Alongside clubs in Turkey he played abroad: the basketball press reported his move to the Greek side Maroussi in the autumn of 2010, and in the spring of 2017 he was reported to have joined the club in Aliağa.

In July of that year he was appointed assistant coach at Trabzonspor's basketball team. Around the same period he also wrote about the game, contributing columns on the play-off series to the Turkish magazine Basket Dergisi.
