Hakan Keleş — Biography
Hakan Keleş was born on 8 January 1972 in Sakarya. Standing 1.78 m tall, he played as a midfielder.
He began his professional career with third-tier side Edirnespor in the 1993-94 season, and his form there earned him a move to Süper Lig club Bursaspor the following year. After two seasons there and a further season at Kayserispor, he joined Ankaragücü in 1998-99, where he spent six and a half seasons, made 202 league appearances and served for a time as team captain. He moved to Antalyaspor midway through the 2004-05 season, then to Çanakkale Dardanelspor two seasons later; when his contract there was terminated, he retired from active football.
Keleş went on to coach, taking charge of Kasımpaşa in November 2024. In January 2026 he was referred to the disciplinary board (PFDK) as part of a betting investigation into Turkish football. As a player he won third place in the Turkish Cup with Ankaragücü, and as a coach he led Giresunspor to the 1. Lig title in the 2020-21 season.
