Hadise — Biography
Hadise Açıkgöz was born on 22 October 1985 in Mol, Belgium, as the daughter of a family originally from Sivas. After receiving an album offer following her participation in the Idool competition in 2003, she became known both in Belgium and Turkey with her first album Sweat, released in 2005, and the song Stir Me Up.
Deli Oğlan, from her 2008 album Hadise, topped the charts in Turkey. Hadise represented Turkey at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest with Düm Tek Tek, finishing fourth with 177 points; the same year she released Fast Life and Kahraman, followed by the albums Aşk Kaç Beden Giyer? (2011), Tavsiye (2014) and Şampiyon (2017).
A jury member on O Ses Türkiye between 2011 and 2020, the artist has won 4 Golden Butterfly, 3 MTV and 3 TMF awards. In the summer of 2026 she appeared at Paris Fashion Week alongside Jennifer Lopez and took the stage with Murat Boz at the TUZFEST'26 concerts.
