Güzin Doğan — Biography

Güzin Doğan, born 1 January 1968 in Istanbul, was a Turkish film actress who appeared in Yeşilçam productions during the 1980s. Her career was brief but dense: over the five years from 1983 to 1988 she appeared in 14 films, most of them concentrated in 1985 and 1986.

She made her screen debut in Hayat Acıları (1983), then played İpek in Aşkım Günahımdır (1984). In 1985 she appeared in Patron Duymasın as Semra, in Sekreter as Filiz, and in Kır Çiçeği. The year 1986 was her busiest on screen: alongside playing Ceylan in Güneşe Köprü and Leyla in Ölümsüz Aşk, she also appeared in İhanetin Darbesi, Yapayalnız, the video production Kumarbaz, and Prenses. Her later films include Benim Olsaydın, in which she played Gül, Sızı (1987), and the 1988 film Toprağın Gücü, in which she played Emine.
