Görkem Görk — Biography

Ahmet Görkem Görk (born 30 June 1983 in Istanbul) is a Turkish former footballer and football coach. He played as a centre-back and was counted among the more attack-minded, goalscoring defenders of his era.

He joined Adanaspor in the summer of 2010, a transfer window in which Altay was also reported to be interested in him. An injury in autumn 2014 kept him out for about a month, and in spring 2018 he was reported to have moved to Rize.

After retiring he turned to coaching. In the summer of 2022 he was put in charge of Boluspor's youth setup, and by spring 2023 he was working on the club's first-team staff as an assistant coach, presenting the side's game plan at press conferences. In June 2023 Boluspor began a new era under head coach Turgay Altay.
