Göktuğ Bakırbaş — Biography
Mehmet Göktuğ Bakırbaş was born on June 1, 1996, in İzmir. Standing 1.96 meters tall, the goalkeeper worked his way up through a club youth academy before signing his first professional contract in 2012, later earning call-ups to Turkey's U-15, U-17 and U-19 national teams.
Over the course of his career he was loaned to Ümraniyespor in 2020 and subsequently spent several seasons with Erzurumspor FK. In July 2025 he moved to Sivasspor, where he has continued to serve as the club's goalkeeper in the TFF 1. Lig.
