Gökhan Zan — Biography
Gökhan Zan (born 7 September 1981 in Antakya, Hatay) is a Turkish football manager, politician and former international footballer who played as a centre-back. He is 1.94 m tall.
He began his career at Hatayspor, then played for Çanakkale Dardanelspor before joining Beşiktaş in the 2003–04 season. After spending 2005–06 at Gaziantepspor he returned to Beşiktaş, and in 2009 he signed a two-year contract with Galatasaray. With the Turkey national team he was part of the squad that reached the semi-finals of UEFA Euro 2008.
After retiring he entered politics, then returned to football as a manager: he took charge of İskenderunspor in December 2025, resigned in March 2026, and was appointed head coach of Şanlıurfaspor in July 2026.
