Gökhan Tepe — Biography

Gökhan Tepe has been a fixture of Turkish pop since the mid-1990s, working as a singer and composer, and also as an actor in television series and film. More than a hundred of his compositions have appeared on his own albums and on other artists' records. In the summer of 2026 he released the single "Tatlım" and marked the thirtieth year of his career with a concert in August.

Trained at the Istanbul Technical University Turkish Music State Conservatory, Tepe entered professional music in 1996 with his first album, Çöz Beni, followed by Canözüm (1999) and Belki Hüzün Belki De Aşk (2002). After a four-year break came Yürü Yüreğim (2006), which he describes as the start of the period in which he found his real identity. Around the same time he turned to acting: he first appeared on camera in Maçolar and shared the lead in Kanal D's Elveda Derken. When that series aired across the Middle East and Arab countries, he gave concerts in Egypt, Beirut, Algeria and Qatar. In cinema he played Deniz in Ayaz (2012).

The albums Vur, Aşk Sahnede, Kendim Gibi, Seninle Her Yere and Yaz 2018 followed. His 2014 single "Gelsen De Anlatsam" topped the radio and television charts for weeks. He also composed for Ebru Gündeş's album Aşık, and has kept releasing singles such as "Asmalı" and "Aşık Kalbin Biliyor".
