Gökhan Keser — Biography

Gökhan Keser was born on 9 September 1987 in İzmir to a family originally from a village in Rize's Çamlıhemşin district. He entered modelling at fourteen, going on to place first in a modelling contest in 2004, runner-up nationally in a separate contest in 2005, and fourth in the world at an international competition held in China in 2006 with entrants from 64 countries. Alongside this he studied acting under Ayla Algan and took voice lessons from several teachers.

He first appeared on screen in the series Selena, which ran from 2006 to 2009, and later served as an on-stage backing vocalist for singer Sıla before releasing his own self-titled debut album in 2012. In 2014 he reached the final of Survivor and finished as runner-up, returning to a repeat edition of the show in 2022. He is also recognised for the character he played in the 2015 series Sen Benimsin, and has continued to release singles and take on film roles while still occasionally performing at football clubs' championship celebrations.
