Gökhan Karadeniz — Biography

Gökhan Karadeniz is a footballer best known for his 27 goals for Altınordu in 2013-14, which made him top scorer of the 2. Lig and, by the reports of that season, the leading scorer across Turkey's professional leagues. He usually plays behind the striker, in midfield or on the wing; he grew up in Karacabey, in Bursa province, and now plays for Batman Petrolspor.

He started in 2000 in the Karacabeyspor youth system, moved to Gemlikspor nine years later and signed a professional contract in 2010. At Bursa Nilüferspor in 2011-12 he scored 20 goals in 35 matches, then was loaned to Aydınspor 1923 at the midpoint of the following season. He joined Altınordu in 2013 on a four-year contract, scored in his first match and had 14 goals in 19 league games in the first half of the season, becoming a standout as the club headed for the title. Kayserispor and Bursaspor showed interest, but the club refused to let him go. At the end of the season he moved to Trabzonspor for 900,000 lira, though he found few chances there and spent a season on loan at Antalyaspor. In March 2014, while still at Altınordu, he was called up to Turkey's A2 national side.

On 22 July 2015 he signed for Göztepe. In later years he played for Hatayspor, Samsunspor, Boluspor and Serik Belediyespor. In January 2026 he had agreed terms with Aliağa but changed his mind at the last moment and joined Batman Petrolspor.
