Gökhan Gül — Biography

Gökhan Gül is a German footballer of Turkish descent, born on 17 July 1998 in Castrop-Rauxel, Germany. Standing 1.83 m tall, he plays as a defensive midfielder or centre-back. He began his professional career in 2015 with VfL Bochum, before moving through Fortuna Düsseldorf, Fortuna Düsseldorf II and Wehen Wiesbaden, and later joined Gençlerbirliği, marking his move to Turkish football.

In early 2023 he transferred to Kasımpaşa, where he gained experience in the Süper Lig. After his contract there ended, he moved to Saudi Arabia in the summer of 2025, signing for Al-Okhdood; reports at the time suggested the deal was worth around five million euros a year.
