Gökçe Yanardağ — Biography

Gökçe Yanardağ is an actress and presenter whose path ran from modelling and beauty pageants into television drama and film. She is especially associated with the character Seher in the long-running ATV series Kırgın Çiçekler and with Gülden Yılmaz in Ayazın Sonu Güneş, which aired on Kanal D in 2024.

She began her career in 1991 as a model signed to an agency. In 1996 she placed fourth in the Turkey beauty contest and, the same year, represented the country at Miss International in Japan, reaching the top ten. After the pageants she turned to the screen: her first series was Deli Divane in 1997. In the 2000s she appeared in productions such as Aşk Meydan Savaşı, Haziran Gecesi (as Selen), Sıla and Aşk ve Ceza; she played Tülin in Güneşi Beklerken and Ferda in the 2015 film Toz Bezi, which brought her to cinema as well.

Kırgın Çiçekler ran for three seasons from 2015 to 2017, and in the same period she also appeared in the series Hayat Sırları and the television film Çetin Ceviz. Her later roles include Sevdam Alabora (Sevinç), Tatlı Küçük Yalancılar, Elimi Bırakma (Hülya Akgün), Hayaller ve Hayatlar (Nursel) and İçimizdeki Ateş (Nermin).
