Gazmend Sinani — Biography
Born in Podujeva on 22 June 1991, Gazmend Sinani was a basketball player who held Kosovan, Turkish and Swedish citizenship and was also known in Turkish-language sources as "Aydın Okçu". Standing 2.06 m tall, the center played for clubs including Helsingborg BBK, KB Prishtina, KB Rahoveci, OGM Ormanspor and Fenerbahçe, as well as Leeds Force in England, and represented the Kosovo national team.
Active as a professional from 2008 to 2018, Sinani died in Gjakova on 23 June 2018, one day after his 27th birthday.
