Furkan Bayır — Biography
Furkan Bayır was born on 9 February 2000 in İzmir. Standing 1.88 meters tall, he is a defender who plays as a centre-back and represented Turkey at the under-21 international level during his youth career.
Bayır has spent a significant part of his career with Süper Lig side Göztepe. In the first half of 2026 he underwent surgery following an injury, and after a recovery period it was confirmed over the summer that he would remain with the club. He continues to play for Göztepe.
