Fuat Güner — Biography
Aziz Fuat Güner (born 1 April 1948 in Istanbul) is a Turkish musician, composer and actor. He is a member of MFÖ, one of the most important groups in Turkish pop-rock; his bandmates are Mazhar Alanson and Özkan Uğur, who died in 2023.
He was educated at Saint Joseph High School and went on to study civil engineering at the Istanbul State Academy of Engineering and Architecture, today's Yıldız Technical University. Alongside his music he worked in film and television, appearing in Arkadaşım Şeytan (1988), Koltuk Sevdası (2001), Canımın İçi (2012) and Tehlikeyle Flört (2015), and composing scores for productions such as Aşk Ölümden Soğuktur (1994) and Ölümsüz Karanfiller (1995).
After Özkan Uğur's death he returned to the stage with Mazhar Alanson in 2024 and has continued to perform. A long-running legal dispute around the group was settled in 2025, when Alanson and Uğur's heirs withdrew from the case and the court awarded Güner damages with interest.
