Fikret Kırcan — Biography

Fikret Kırcan (December 25, 1919, Istanbul – November 26, 2014, Istanbul) was a Turkish international footballer and sports administrator. He spent his entire playing career at Fenerbahçe, wearing the club's shirt for 22 years — longer than any other player in its history.

Because the squad already included the older Fikret Arıcan, he became known as "Küçük Fikret" ("Little Fikret"), a nickname that stayed with him for life. He is one of five players mentioned by name in the club's official anthem and is regarded as one of the most important figures in Fenerbahçe's history.

After retiring as a player, he served as an official of the Turkish Football Federation in the 1950s and 1960s and worked as a club official and manager at Fenerbahçe from the 1950s to the 1970s. He died in Istanbul on November 26, 2014.
